Thai Airways International is to acquire 37 Boeing and Airbus aircraft worth almost $4 billion by 2017. It will also obtain 22 aircraft under operating leases.
The Thailand flag carrier’s order includes:
- Six Boeing B777-300ERs for delivery in 2014 and 2015
- Four Airbus A350-900s for delivery in 2016 and 2017
- Five Airbus A320-200s for delivery in 2014 and 2015
The airline will use working capital to fund the aircraft procurement, it said in a filing to the Thailand stock exchange.
