Just You launches Amazing Adventures Await campaign

Solo operator Just You has launched a social media and digital campaign focusing on shared experiences its customers experience while on its tours.

The Amazing Adventures Await initiative is designed to keep spirits up during the coronavirus lockdown, and bids to encourage future travel by having people share photos and memories of their past experiences.

Just You has put together a range of travel stories on social media platforms to keep customers entertained while travel is restricted ahead of Mental Health Awareness Week.

Tour managers have shared their own experiences, and answered destination-related questions, discussed travel shows coming up on TV, and provided virtual tours.

Managing director Alastair Campbell said: “The health and wellbeing of our customers and our team is so important, some of our customers are having to spend time isolated in their homes, our hope is that our travel stories and shared experiences will help them get through these testing times by being able to connect with the wider Just You community of travellers.

“We are seeing a fantastic response from our customers who are all so eager to travel again, however in the meantime they are enjoying having conversations with other travellers and remembering the great holidays they have had with Just You.”

Just You has digital and social media assets it is sharing with travel agent partners.

“Our trade partners are so key to the future of Just You, so we are sending them assets that they can use on their social media channels to help them start up conversations with potential solo travellers,” Campbell said.

“We are all living in the strangest of times, however one thing that we can all be sure if is the passion that we have to explore and experience, we will be back and in the meantime we just need to look forward and look after each other.”
