Wendy Wu Tours is running a series of online training sessions for agents over video conference software.
The remote sessions kicked off on Tuesday, March 31, with a video focussed on China and the operator’s 16-day Wonders of China tour in particular.
It was hosted by global sales director John Warr and watched by about 70 agents via Microsoft Teams.
Sessions on Japan and South East Asia followed on Wednesday and Thursday mornings.
Further sessions are planned every working day until April 8, with focusses on Latin America, India and Sri Lanka, Victoria Mekong and cruise and beach, and Central Asia. Each starts at 10am and more details are available on the operator’s Facebook page for agents.
“We feel now is a great time to be offering in-depth training to our travel agent partners as we look to the future in the hope of brighter times ahead,” said Warr.
