Insight Vacations has unveiled a trip to India as the first women-only trip under its new ‘Wander Women’ range.
Called Inspirational India, A Wander Women Journey, it will take place in 2021 with itineraries created and led by women.
The 12-day tour starts in Delhi where guests can visit Sheroes, a café run by acid attack survivors.
The itinerary includes the Taj Mahal and Jaipur, where clients can take part in Holi, the ancient festival of colours. Other activities include yoga with a female guru; a Pink City rickshaw ride; a Bollywood dance class; and a henna demonstration.
It costs from £3,445, not including flights.
Rachel Coffey, Insight Vacations’ sales and business development director, said: “With 57% of our guests being female, along with the rise of women-only travel, our new ‘Wander Women’ journey is a perfect fit for those who want to get below the surface and experience India as a culturally immersive destination.
“This new journey provides myriad opportunities to give back and empower women in the local communities.”
