Coronavirus: Butlin’s resorts to close from March 20 to April 16

Butlin’s announced this afternoon that it will close its three resorts – Bognor Regis, Minehead and Skegness – from Friday March 20 to April 16.

A statement said this afternoon: “The safety and wellbeing of our guests and team are our absolute priority. In support of government recommendations, we have sadly taken the decision to temporarily close all three resorts.

“We will continue to monitor the situation as it develops – please check this page for more details.”

Its website also details re-booking options or the option to transfer to a Haven holiday.

Those re-booking will also receive a £50 resort voucher.

Sister Bourne Leisure brands Haven and Warner Leisure Hotels are reviewing the situation in light of government advice.
