Sunvil has taken on Sophie Fayle from travel marketing agency 3FOR as trade sales manager .
Fayle was previously client services manager at 3FOR and has more than 14 years’ experience in the industry, having worked as a travel agent for Keir Woodward Travel and Thomas Cook.
Sunvil announced the creation of the new role last month as part of a wider strategy to strengthen its trade sales team and increase bookings through agents.
The operator, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, is also recruiting for a sales executive for the north, another for the south of the UK and is also considering the appointment of a third to cover the west of England.
Managing director Chris Wright said: “2020 is an exciting year for Sunvil as we hit this incredible milestone. This new [trade sales manager] role will help us to develop and grow the business with our travel agent partners even further, as well as increase brand awareness.
“We look forward to Sophie joining the Sunvil family and bringing her energy and enthusiasm to the team.”
Fayle said: “I am excited to join the Sunvil team and work for a widely-renowned and respected tour operator. I hope to use my existing skillset and experience to help drive sales, through account management, leadership and training delivery.”
