Newmarket launches ‘Golden Ticket’ promotion for new brochure

Agents receiving Newmarket Holidays’ new brochure from today (January 2) have the chance to win prizes if they find a golden ticket.

The escorted tour operator has randomly hidden 40 golden tickets in its Holidays & Tours Collection 2020–22 brochure, which features 36 new tours

Any agent finding a golden ticket can win one of several prizes, including a break to Lake Garda for two, a Samsung Galaxy tablet, or Love2Shop vouchers.

To redeem their prize, agents must post a picture of themselves with the winning ticket to Nic Newmarket on Facebook and quote their winning code by January 31.

This year’s incentive aims to build on the success of last year’s Golden Ticket campaign.

Richard Forde (pictured), Newmarket’s head of agency sales, said: “Travel agency sales are more important than ever to Newmarket, and we’re hoping that this promotion will encourage travel agents up and down the country to read all about the latest additions to our award-winning programme.

“We’ve added 36 new and exciting tours, including a fascinating trip to Georgia, where Europe meets Asia; a unique two-centre holiday of Egypt, staying in Luxor and Hurghada; and a rail-focused tour of India, calling at Amristar, Shimla and the Taj.”

Newmarket has also announced an early booking discount of 5% for clients who book selected air-inclusive holidays by January 31 – along with a gift consisting of a Newmarket travel pillow, and either six bottles of wine or a hamper.

Forde added: “These gifts are as much in recognition of the past support of regular customers, as they are an incentive to new bookers. We’ve created a successful offer that we hope will help customers choose to book with Newmarket Holidays.”
