Silversea welcomes Jane McDonald on Silver Shadow

Silversea will feature on Cruising with Jane McDonald in this Friday’s episode.

In the fourth episode of the Bafta award-winning show, singer and TV personality McDonald cruises on the 388-passenger Silver Shadow to ports such as Dubrovnik, Korcula, Split, all Croatia; Venice; and Kotor in Montenegro.

It will be the second time the line has appeared on the programme having featured last year when McDonald sailed on Silver Muse.

To celebrate the TV appearance, Silversea is offering a suite on Silver Shadow to an agent who books one of its 63 voyages between December 19, 2019, and January 6, 2020.

Passengers will also receive a 5% saving on the sailing.

Agents will automatically be entered into a prize draw to win a place on a 13-day cruise from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to Lisbon on March 27, 2020.

During the TV show, McDonald visits the Murano glass factory in Venice, takes a walking tour of Split and spend time in Boka Bay in Kotor.

Last month, a new atrium on deck five was added and all suites and corridors were improved as part of the ship’s refurbishment.

The ship’s French dining venue La Dame and smoking area Connoisseur’s Corner were both “remodelled” as part of the revamp.

UK and Ireland managing director Peter Shanks said: “We are delighted to welcome Jane back on board and we know how much she enjoys the Silversea experience.

“This Adriatic adventure really captures why the Silversea experience is so unique and how you can travel deeper to discover the hidden gems of the Med by sailing with us.

“I’ve seen the episode and I know it will be an enticing journey for current and future guests.”
