Revamped Celebrity Silhouette to run 2021 UK sailings

Celebrity Cruises has confirmed the return of revamped Celebrity Silhouette to run sailings from Southampton in summer 2021.

A expanded range of 15 departures will be offered on seven to 14-night itineraries, including the Norwegian fjords, Iceland and Ireland.

New onboard features will include The Retreat Lounge for suite class passengers, while the Lawn Club will be transformed into a new shaded lounge and relaxation area.

The line’s deployment for the year from April 2021 includes four new ports of call including Taranto in Italy and Zakynthos, Hydra, and Thessaloniki in Greece.

A total of 125 overnight stays have been scheduled in more than 30 ports including Porto, St Petersburg and Reykjavik.

Six of the company’s fleet of 14 ships will be deployed in Europe covering 25 countries.

Ships in Europe include Celebrity Infinity’s first Mediterranean season after refurbishment, Celebrity Edge sailing to Turkey for the first time, Celebrity Apex running new  Mediterranean itineraries including the Greek islands, Celebrity Constellation between Venice, Rome and Barcelona and Celebrity Reflection from Amsterdam.

People booking by the end of the year will receive a 10% discount on pre-cruise purchases for shore excursions, Xcelerate packages, both Classic and Premium drinks packages and specialty dining.

Celebrity Cruises president and chief executive Lisa Lutoff-Perlo said: “Our mission is to open up the world for our guests.

“For our 2021-22 season of sailings, we’ve searched the planet to curate the most incredible new and world-opening holiday experiences we could find.

“We’ll bring you to places that will stay with you long after you’ve left them, including new destinations in Europe, Asia, South America, and Alaska.”
