Travel 2 has added 57 new holidays to its latest Incredible Journeys brochure, to cater for surging interest in escorted tours.

As well as more consumers booking tours, sales have been boosted by Travel 2’s associate membership of the Association of Touring and Adventure Suppliers (Atas).

Dnata Travel-owned Travel 2 and sister brand Gold Medal joined Atas in March to help raise trade awareness and drive sales of touring and adventure products.

Kerry Gallagher, marketing director of Gold Medal and Travel 2, said: “Consumers are increasingly more focused on adventure and seeing the world, and this has been reflected in the growth in demand and booking numbers for touring and adventure holidays.

“The aim of the new brochure is to make sure agents feel supported when responding to this new customer demand, so they have a solid understanding and all the information they need is in one accessible place.”

The redesigned Incredible Journeys brochure now features 164 tours in 60 countries, and destinations seeing the strongest growth include Canada, Argentina and Cuba.

A new 14-day Tracks Across Canada with Via Rail tour takes clients from Montreal to Toronto, Niagara Falls and Vancouver (pictured).

It costs from £3,999 including flights, hotel accommodation and four nights onboard Via Rail’s The Canadian train in Sleeper Plus class.

Agents who make a touring holiday booking from the Incredible Journeys brochure between November 1 and 30 will be entered into a prize draw.

The winner will receive an Away carry-on suitcase – with removable USB charger and a personalised luggage tag – worth £240.
