Holiday Extras has acquired airport hotel and parking specialist City Hotel Reservations (CHR).
The company, which operates websites heathrowhotels.com and stanstedparking.com and was founded in 2003, has been a partner of the holiday add-ons firm for more than five years.
Holiday Extras has grown its airport hotel and parking business over the last two years with the building of its Purple Parking brand and website and acquisition of parking software firm Chauntry in November 2017.
Following a series of acquisitions, Holiday Extras is now valued at more than £100 million.
Matthew Pack, group CEO of Holiday Extras, said: “We’ve worked with the team at CHR for more than five years to supply airport hotel and parking inventory, and during that time we’ve been impressed with their strong customer service record and the quality of the online customer experience.
“Their websites are therefore a natural fit for our business and we’re pleased to announce this latest acquisition today.”
Robert Flouty, founder and chief executive of CHR, added: “After 15 years of building the business we knew that Holiday Extras would be the right home to take both growth and customer experience to the next level with their advanced technologies, wide distribution network and strong supply partnerships the business will be in the safest of hands.
“As clear market leaders in airport hotels and parking Holiday Extras has the scale and experience to ensure the continued success of the business at all the major UK airports our websites serve.”
