Kathryn Coles has been promoted by Simpson Travel to the newly-created role of head of sales as part of a push for more bookings via the trade.

She joined the luxury Mediterranean villa and boutique hotel operator in January from her previous position as Tauck UK country manager and takes up her new position from November 1.

Since joining, Coles has created the concept of the ‘Simpson Family’ for partner agents.

Her new job will see her divide time between the office and getting out on the road to visit agents.

She is inviting independent agents to work with the operator and create strong partnerships.

Agents will be offered performance enhanced commission and additional incremental benefits plus the chance to personally experience Simpson Travel holidays with family and friends.

A group of agents will be invited to visit the Simpson Travel offices in London on November 6 to see behind the scenes, meet owner Graham Simpson and talk to the product and sales teams.
