P&O Cruises is to reposition several ships, including Azura, Ventura and Oceana, for its 2021‑22 programme.
More than 400 cruises, calling at 186 ports across 68 countries, feature in the programme, which is due to go on general sale on October 23.
Azura will sail Mediterranean fly-cruises out of Malta throughout the summer from April to October 2021, taking over from Oceana. Prices for a seven-night cruise, departing Malta on April 1, 2021, and calling at Dubrovnik, Hvar, Split and Trieste, lead-in at £799.
Ventura will replace Azura and sail alternating western Mediterranean and Baltic sailings in summer 2021 before operating itineraries in Spain, Portugal and the Canary Islands.
Oceana will return to Dubai and the Arabian Gulf for winter 2021-22. The ship was pulled from the region for 2019-20 sailings amid security concerns. It will sail two 12-night cruises across southern Europe in the summer. Ventura previously sailed the same itineraries. The lead-in price for a seven-night fly-cruise on Oceana, departing Dubai on December 5, 2021, is £899.
Iona will continue to sail Norwegian fjords itineraries in summer 2021 – the same region it will sail in its debut season from May 2020. Prices for a seven-night fjords cruise departing from Southampton on April 24, 2021, start from £599.
During the winter, the 5,200-passenger ship will switch to a mix of sailings to Spain, Portugal and the Canary Islands.
Aurora’s 99-night world cruise in 2022 includes two full days in Tokyo, plus calls in San Francisco, Auckland, Sydney, Hong Kong and Singapore. Prices for the full cruise departing from Southampton on January 3, 2022, start at £10,299.
