There are vacancies for cabin crew, overseas and engineering staff, and positions at the company’s commercial office in Leeds.

Meanwhile, Advantage Travel Partnership will host two ‘How to start your own travel business’ seminars in London next Friday.

Priority will be given to former Thomas Cook retail staff and Freedom members but other agents can attend.

The seminars will cover licensing and travel regulations, business planning and technology, as well as membership options and marketing support.

David Moon, head of business development, will host the seminars, which will take place on October 4, from 11.30am-1pm and 2pm-3.30pm at Advantage Travel Partnership’s headquarters at 21 Provost Street, London.

Agents can also arrange informal one-to-one meetings with the membership team in London or elsewhere.

Moon said: “The seminars have been designed to give them more insight into what is involved in starting your own business and the support that is available to them in the industry.

“The closing of Thomas Cook was a significant event for agents, and we hope to give Thomas Cook’s former employees the confidence to start a new chapter in their career.”

For details, agents can email the membership team on bdteam@advantagetravelpartnership.com or call 020 7324 3931.
