Virgin Atlantic has released fares for its first service to South America.
Flights from Heathrow to Sao Paulo in Brazil lead in at £578 return, rising to £1,998 in Upper Class for the flights which start on March 29, 2020.
More than 190,000 seats a year will be available on the 11 hour, 55 minute route which will be flown by a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
The new transatlantic link will provide connections with the carrier’s new Brazilian codeshare partner GOL to destinations such as Rio de Janeiro.
A £150 discount on flight and hotel packages to Sao Paulo is available for bookings made by September 16 for travel until August 31, 2020.
Flight and hotel deals to start at £739 per person for five nights in May next year.
