Olly Nicholls has been appointed chief commercial officer of theme park and ticket specialist Attraction World.
Nicholls took up the role on September 2, and joins from City Sightseeing Worldwide where he was global distribution and commercial partnerships director.
Nicholls said: “I feel incredibly proud to be taking on this role, and to have the ability to use my influence to shape the future of such a wonderful brand. We have a lot of work to do with our partners.
“We will be taking a bottom up approach with our trade partners and rediscovering what the travel agent teams need across the breadth of the country, and across all partners. Our trade partners are incredibly important to our future strategy and they will be made to feel that through various consultations and strategy workshops.
He added: “For the short term we need to engage and understand before plans in place. I will be out and about visiting shops with our amazing trade team Sarah Ashmore and Kelly Hayre, to meet with shop teams across the country to gain feedback on how they view Attraction World and to gain the much needed feedback.”
Nicholls has been in the industry for 17 years where he started as a resort rep for Tui before moving back to the UK in 2008 and working within the retail department.
