Ryanair reports 9% increase in passenger numbers in July

Europe’s largest airline Ryanair saw a 9% increase in passenger numbers in July.

The budget carrier flew 14.8 million passengers in the month on 81,000 scheduled flights. Load factor for the month was 97%.

Passenger numbers for Ryanair’s Lauda brand were up 20% to 600,000. The Ryanair brand carried 14.2 million passengers.

July’s numbers took Ryanair’s rolling annual total to 148.2 million passengers, up 10%, with the load factor at 96%.
