Jurassic World ride opens at Universal Studios Hollywood

The Jurassic World: The Ride has opened at Universal Studios Hollywood.

The attraction is an updated version of Jurassic Park: The Ride which first launched at the theme park in 1996 and is in the same space.

Stars of the Jurassic World film series, which began in 2015, including Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard (pictured on the ride) were at the opening.

It features dinosaurs from the more recent film series including the Indominus Rex and the aquatic Mosasaurus, and will immerse guests into newly-themed environments and feature new animatronic dinosaurs.

Universal is also opening a ‘Raptor Encounter’ where guests can have face-to-face encounters with realistic dinosaurs and a ‘Dino Play’ area for children to excavate giant fossils at its Hollywood park.
