Global Travel Group has marked Pride month with its first range of holiday deals aimed at the LGBTQ+ market.

Operators were invited to supply deals for LGBTQ+ holidays, which were marketed with a range of online images and emails during June.

The promotion is part of a wider LGBTQ+ initiative, which includes sponsoring Chester Pride 2019, which takes place on August 10 in Chester, near the consortium’s head office.

The consortium also has a rainbow-coloured version of its logo as part of the rebranding which took place in December 2018.

Cherie Richards, commercial director at Global Travel Group, said: “Global members pride themselves on being able to offer the best advice for all clients and this initiative is another way for them to show off their expertise.

“While LGBTQ+ couples holiday just like everyone else, it is important they can travel with confidence.

“Laws and attitudes vary around the world, so it is important to get the best advice from the experts.”
