Virgin Voyages agrees new LGBTQ+ charter deal on Scarlet Lady

Virgin Voyages has agreed a ship charter deal with LGBTQ+ events specialist Atlantis Events for 2020.

Atlantis Events will charter the yet-to-launch line’s debut ship on a custom seven-night sailing departing from Miami on May 31, 2020.

The ship will call at Key West, Florida; Cozumel/ Playa del Carmen and Costa Maya, Mexico.

Passengers will visit the line’s private venue The Beach Club on Bimini Island, Bahamas.

Virgin Voyages will drive a disco bus around New York City on Saturday to celebrate Pride visiting the different LGBTQ+ venues around Chelsea promote the cruise.

Sir Richard Branson, founder of the Virgin Group, will be on board the bus alongside drag-performer Ginger Minj and Rich Campbell, Atlantis Events’ president and chief executive.

Bookings for Atlantis Events’ exclusive sailing on board Scarlet Lady will go on sale early next month at AtlantisEvents.com
