Tunisia flights comeback from Leeds Bradford

Flights to Tunisia have returned to Leeds Bradford airport with summer departures to Enfidha.

The weekly flights, operated by Nouvelair on behalf of Thomas Cook, will operate until September 24.

Tunisia was last served from the Yorkshire airport by Tui in 2015, the year of the deadly Sousse beach terrorist attack against tourists.

Holidaymakers on the new flights have access to more than 25 resorts, including Thomas Cook’s Sentido brand.

Excursions to explore Tunisia’s Roman heritage including Carthage and El Djem are also available.

Leeds Bradford airport aviation and commercial director John Cunliffe said: “Tunisia is an increasingly popular destination and one we feel will be very popular with the people of Yorkshire.

“We look forward to welcoming Nouvelair to Leeds Bradford airport on a weekly basis throughout the summer.”
