Explore highlights Jordan trips ahead of Aladdin release

Explore is highlighting three itineraries in Jordan, as the live-action remake of Aladdin is released on May 22.

The movie was shot on location in Jordan, with Wadi Rum (pictured) being used as the fictional kingdom of Agrabah.

One escorted tour, called Family – The Lost City of Petra, visits Petra, the well-preserved ruins of Jerash and the castle of Kerak, and the Dead Sea.

The nine-day trip costs from £1,699 per adult and £1,380 per child, which includes return flights, transfers and accommodation.

The Jordan Discovery tour also includes Petra and Dead Sea, plus Mount Nebo and the chance to experience Bedouin life at Wadi Rum.

Spice Trails of Petra is a walking tour which features the Siq gorge, the Dead Sea and the ancient desert kingdom of Jerash.

The eight-day trip costs from £1,485 and includes flights and accommodation.
