Tui adds 2020 capacity from Manchester and Bristol airports

Marsa Alam in Egypt has been added by Tui UK to its summer 2020 programme from Manchester airport.

Flights to the Red Sea resort to the south of Hurghada will run weekly on Wednesdays from May 6 next year.

Frequency to Puerto Vallarta in Mexico is also being raised to two flights a week to enable the operator to provide seven, ten, 11 and 14-night holiday durations.

Enfidha in Tunisia is being introduced from Bristol airport together with additional flights to Reus in Spain.

The Tunisian destination will be served weekly on Mondays from May 4 next year with Reus being served twice a week from May 26.

Tui is to base a Boeing 787 Dreamliner at the west country airport  throughout summer 2020 to run daily flights to a mix of short and long-haul destinations including Orlando, Cancun, Majorca and Turkey.

Tui UK and Ireland aviation planning director Karen Switzer said: “We are concentrating on providing more availability to our great range of holidays by expanding our regional flying programme.

“The new route to Marsa Alam from Manchester provides holidaymakers with even more choice when deciding where to go next summer on holiday.

“As the market leader in Mexico the additional flying days added to the Puerto Vallarta programme provide holidaymakers in the north-west with greater flexibility on durations and more opportunity to experience our wide range of hotel concepts and destinations.”

She added: “The new route to Enfidha and the additional flight to Reus from Bristol provides holidaymakers with more opportunity including the flexibility of different durations to experience our wide range of hotel concepts and destinations.”

Manchester airport commercial director Stephen Turner, added: “It’s great to see Tui launch new destinations from Manchester Airport for 2020.

“I am sure these routes will be incredible popular, and will please the 22 million passengers in our vast catchment area.”

Nigel Scott, Bristol airport business development director, said: “We are delighted that our summer 2020 holidays are now on sale with a new route to Enfidha and an extra flight to Reus for summer 2020.  We recognise Tui’s continued commitment to Bristol with the Boeing 787 Dreamliner being based here throughout summer 2020.”
