Etihad Airways raises summer Heathrow frequency

Etihad Airways is raising summer frequency from Heathrow to Abu Dhabi.

Frequency will initially be stepped up from three to four daily flights between May 26 and June 22.

Up to five flights a day have been scheduled for the June 23- September 28 peak period.

Frequency will return to four daily flights from September 29 to October 26.

The additional flights will be operated by Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, supplementing all-Airbus A380 superjumbo services between both cities.

The extra flights are timed to provide connections via Abu Dhabi to and from destinations across the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Australia.

Etihad’s two-class version of the 787-9 Dreamliner is configured with 28 business studios and 271 economy seats.
