Scenic Eclipse unveils first interior images of its submarine

The Scenic Group’s discovery yacht, Scenic Eclipse, has revealed the first pictures that show the inside of the Scenic Neptune submarine.

The submarine will accommodate six passengers and a pilot, offering guests the chance to explore the underwater world.

Remy Izendooren, Scenic Neptune pilot, said: “Volcanic pinnacles, sheer walls, majestic wrecks, a wide diversity of marine life and beautiful reefs lie waiting to be discovered.”

It will offer up to eight dives a day.

The first sailing of Scenic Eclipse is scheduled for August 15, 2019 – an Iceland and Atlantic Canada voyage from Reyjavik to Quebec.

The introduction of Scenic Group’s luxury yacht Scenic Eclipse has been delayed three times, because of financial challenges at the shipyard in Croatia where the vessel is being built.

In a statement released on Thursday, Scenic said: “We remain confident of our launch date and look forward to welcoming our first guests on board for the voyage out of Reykjavik.”

As well as a submarine, the 228-passenger vessel features helicopters for prime viewing in the Arctic and Antarctica.
