Tui UK targets Turkey with 45,000 extra summer 2020 seats

Tui UK is hiking capacity to Turkey with an additional 45,000 seats for summer 2020.

The move comes as part of a wider expansion for next year with an additional 2,000 hotels in more than 75 destinations, including many free kids places.

New flights to Turkey include from Belfast and Aberdeen to Dalaman plus more frequency from both Gatwick and Manchester.

Two hotels have been contracted exclusively to Tui in Antalya to join its Platinum range – the Royal Dragon and Royal Wings.

The adult-only Tui Blue Grand Azur in Marmaris (pictured) will be owned and exclusive to the group from next summer.

Tui’s growth in Turkey comes as rival Thomas Cook revealed that the non-EU country had overtaken Greece as its second most popular country for summer 2019 holidays.

A £499 offer for children at selected hotels in Florida between June and September 2020 has also been introduced by Tui.

The deal covers 16 properties including the new Universal Orlando Resort’s Endless Summer Dockside Inn & Suites opening in March next year and in available for early bookings made by May 31.
