Wendy Wu Tours claims it is the first UK operator to offer clients on an escorted tour the chance to join the celebrations of a traditional Indian wedding.
The experience is part of the nine-day fully-escorted An Indian Wedding tour, departing on November 4 from Heathrow.
Peter Crane, head of product at Wendy Wu, said: “This holiday is certainly a game-changer as it’s the first time anything like this has been included on an escorted tour from a UK holiday company.
“Unlike a traditional British wedding, this extravaganza is a two-day affair, with a full day of pre-wedding celebrations.
“As a special VIP member of the wedding party, you’ll be invited to join the pre-wedding evening do for some serious Bollywood moves.”
Following the pre-wedding event, clients will attend the evening reception to see Gath Bandhan (tying of the nuptial knot) and Mangalphera (walk around the fire), while wearing traditional clothes, supplied by Wendy Wu.
The tour includes visits to the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and the Pink City of Jaipur.
It costs from £2,990 per person, including return flights, accommodation, meals, sightseeing, transfers, English-speaking escort and visa fees.
