The new episode of Bafta-award winning show Cruising with Jane McDonald will see the TV presenter step on board Emerald Waterways for a sailing on the Douro.
The singer will explore a number of Portuguese highlights on the 112-guest Emerald Radiance sailing from Porto to Salamanca in Spain and back to Porto.
McDonald takes a tour of Porto’s port cellars, visits Casa De Mateus (Mateus Palace) in Vila Real, tries tile painting and takes a train to Lisbon to a factory making traditional Portuguese custard tarts.
David Winterton, head of marketing UK & global brand curator, Emerald Waterways, said: “It’s great that Channel 5 and Jane have chosen Emerald Waterways for this latest show. We were delighted to host Jane and the team. Everyone loved having her on board and we are looking forward to sharing her cruise with the nation.”
The show airs on April 19 on Channel 5 at 9pm.
The next two episodes feature river cruises in India.
