Mark Lewsey joins Accord as head of marketing

Travel marketing firm Accord has announced Mark Lewsey as its new head of marketing.

Lewsey has worked in the travel, leisure and hospitality industry for more than 30 years, most recently as director of marketing for luxury five-star hotels ME London, Corinthia Hotel London and Hotel Café Royal. Prior to that he held a variety of roles in the cruise, tour operating, technology and airline sectors.

In the newly-created role he will be responsible for expanding Accord’s programme of marketing projects within its specialist sectors in travel, tourism, charity, over-50s and recruitment marketing.

He said: “I am thrilled to be joining Accord during such an exciting time of transition, growth and new opportunity. I look forward to leveraging my 24 years’ marketing experience in the travel and tourism sector to devise and deliver an innovative communications strategy that will firmly position Accord as a proudly independent, award-winning agency.”
