APT ‘completes’ trade sales team with BDM appointment

APT has appointed a new business development manager who it says ‘completes’ its UK trade support team.

Becky Baumbach, who joins from Bristol airport, will support agents based in the south west of England, from Cornwall to Worcester, and those in South Wales.

She will report into head of sales Jessica Shelton-Agar, joining APT’s three other business development managers; Denise Rice who covers the south east; Chris So Woon Yuen, who covers the central region; and Carrie Grant, who looks after the north of England and Scotland.

The sales team has grown from three account managers on the road to a trade support team of six including Bianca Venn as inside sales executive.

APT sells two thirds of its holidays through the trade in the UK.

Shelton-Agar said: “We are thrilled to have Becky join our ever growing on road sales team. The south west presents a great opportunity and Becky’s addition demonstrates a commitment from APT to continue driving growth through the trade in this region.

“Having spent many years working in the industry as a consultant on the frontline, she can relate to the challenges agents face on a day-to-day basis. Becky will be heading out on the road soon, sharing her plethora of knowledge and experience with agents in the south west.”
