New look for London City airport

A new brand identity has been unveiled by London City airport.

The change from the previous corporate grey and blue reflects “a more dynamic, vibrant and contemporary look, synonymous with modern London”.

The new look comes as the Docklands airport continues to grow and appeal to a changing mix of passengers.

These are identified as leisure travellers and east Londoners, in addition to an established base of business travellers.

The new design, which utilises a heart motif, reinforces London City’s role as the capital’s most central airport – ‘at the heart of the city’.

London-based brand and design agency The Allotment created the new look.
