Wendy Wu offers free extensions to Asia tours

Wendy Wu has launched a special offer in March, giving clients the chance to add a free two-night stay to their escorted tour in Asia.

The offer means clients on selected tours in China and Japan can stay for free for two nights in Hong Kong (pictured) while those travelling in south-east Asia can opt for a two-night beach holiday in destinations such as Phu Quoc in Vietnam, Hua Hin in Thailand or Koh Rong in Cambodia.

The free extensions are available for bookings made in March on selected departures from Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester.

Jonathan Wilson, global product director, said: “We’re giving passengers the best of both worlds. Not only will they have the time of their lives on one of our award-winning escorted tours but now there’s the added advantage of a free holiday, pre or post-tour, in Hong Kong or on one of the world’s most breath-taking beach resorts in Asia.

“This is the perfect combination of witnessing unmissable sights on tour with a relaxing city or beach stay.”

John Warr, global sales director, added: “With the immediate uncertainty of Brexit on the horizon it’s clear that people are looking further afield when making their holiday plans. In January this year, 67% of our bookings were from first-time bookers to Asia and South America, testament that the long-haul market is more than holding its own in this current climate.”

The operator is also offering free three-night stays in Shimla or Ranthambore Tiger Reserve as an add-on for selected tours to India.
