Cruise and Maritime Voyages travel group’s managing director Peter Stratton has stepped down from the business.
He was appointed in 2016 and led CMV’s non-cruise related activities, including tour operations and wholesale, retail and corporate travel services.
Stratton also owns executive recruitment specialist Simpson Recruitment and last year set-up Temptation Holidays – a ‘sex positive’ tour operator.
Stratton has previously held positions at P&O Ferries and Eurotunnel.
The company said Stratton had completed a three-year project to turnaround the non-cruise businesses.
Chief financial officer Simon Weeks, said: “We value Peter’s contribution during his tenure and look forward to generating increased revenues from the re-focused business.”
Stratton said: “I have enjoyed my time at CMV and am proud of the vibrant company I have created. It is a solid base from which to take the business to new heights.”
