Virgin Atlantic supports new Amber Road business travel app

A new business travel platform for SMEs created by travel management company Amber Road is being introduced with support from Virgin Atlantic.

The first 25 customers signing up to the new TRAQ travel app are being offered silver Flying Club membership with the carrier and a free lounge pass for one person for each new company registering. Additional benefits are also being developed.

TRAQ claims to use intuitive app-based booking components to ensure the best available prices.

The app also provides other time-saving benefits including automatic flight-delay compensation.

Users will have the support of a named Amber Road travel advisor without paying booking, management, transaction or credit card fees.

TRAQ operates a simple pricing system, charging a flat fee of £29 per traveller, per month when the traveller is active.

Amber Road CEO Clive Wratten said: “SMEs have specific needs and TRAQ is a bespoke, smart business travel platform that has been created to meet them.

“It combines Amber Road’s personalised, professional service with easy-to-access booking and management tools – saving SMEs time and delivering excellent value.

“Creating a superlative, personalised customer experience is at the heart of everything we do, and TRAQ encapsulates these core values and services and is something we are proud to launch today.”
