Travelbag recruits new head of product from Travelopia

The former Travelopia head of purchasing and contracting for long-haul tailormade brands has joined Travelbag.

Suzanne Harvey has been named as head of product for the dnata Travel Europe-owned long-haul specialist

Harvey has more than 15 years travel industry experience, having started her career at First Choice before moving to Sandals to work as a business account manager.

She will lead a seven-strong product team reporting to chief commercial officer B2C long-haul, Matt Bell.

Harvey will also work closely with new managing director Lesley Rollo, who joins the business after Easter, on developing and delivering Travelbag’s worldwide product strategy.

Dnata Travel Europe CEO John Bevan said: “We’re looking forward to leveraging Suzanne’s experience. We have big ambitions for Travelbag in this its 40th year, and she’ll be critical in bringing those to life.”

Travelbag also recently appointed Darren Hitchcock as commercial manager following product and commercial roles at Solo’s Holidays, Thomas Cook and Hotels4U.
