Qatar Airways hikes UK and Ireland summer frequencies

Qatar Airways is raising frequency from the UK and Ireland to Doha by 17 flights a week for the summer peak.

Extra flights have been added from Cardiff, Manchester, Gatwick, Edinburgh and Dublin.

This will give the airline 119 flights a week or up to 18 a day by July.

Increases to the UK schedule:

•                     Daily Cardiff flights from May 30

•                     Three Manchester flights a day from June 14

•                     Three Gatwick flights a day from June 29

•                     Ten Edinburgh flights a week from July 1

•                     Eleven Dublin flights a week from July 1

Qatar Airways senior vice president Europe, Sylvain Bosc, said: “We have been exceptionally pleased by the level of demand for our service to and from our UK and Ireland destinations.

“We look forward to welcoming even more passengers aboard in the coming months and taking them to enjoy holidays and business trips in unrivalled comfort.”
