Tui’s ski brand Crystal Ski Holidays has launched a “tongue-in-cheek” video about snowsports fans, as part of its 2019 marketing campaign.
It features a support group of ‘ski obsessives’ talking about how they think about ski-ing holidays all the time.
Hosted on YouTube, the video has gone live today (February 8), just ahead of the peak half-term period. It will be promoted across social media channels including Facebook and Instagram and will be played in Crystal retail pods.
The content will also be embedded in customer emails.
A series of ‘behind the scenes’ interviews about the characters in the film will feature in ‘mini videos’ to support the main film.
It is all part of the operator’s marketing campaign for this year, which celebrates customers’ favourite moments of a ski holiday, on and off the slopes.
Lucy Black, who joined Crystal Ski Holidays as head of marketing in January, said: “Skiers and snowboarders are a really passionate bunch and this new campaign perfectly captures the excitement and the build-up.
“It’s aimed at those who already love a winter holiday, but we think it’ll also appeal to those who may want to consider taking one or trying skiing for the first time.”
