Agents will be invited to attend Experience Latin America (Ela) for the first time next year, as the event comes under the management of Travel Weekly parent company Jacobs Media Group.

The trade show, which brings Latin American suppliers together with UK buyers, will feature its first ‘agent day’ when it takes place from June 10-12, 2019, in a new venue at Chelsea Football Club.

The event will give the chance for more than 5,600 meetings between 150 exhibitors and 400 buyers, the latter made up of both UK trade buyers as well as European buyers.

Colin Stewart, chairman of Latin American Travel Association (Lata), said: “We are delighted to be working with Jacobs Media Group for this coming sixth edition of Ela, and thrilled to be hosting the show at Chelsea FC.

“The move is part of Lata’s strategy to continue to grow and develop the show. Hosting Ela at one of the UK’s flagship venues will offer attendees a range of accommodation, extending networking opportunities and other new experiences.”
