Former Perfect Weddings Abroad founder Danny Waine is joining villa and self-catering specialist Interhome.
He becomes UK and Ireland business development manager and will be responsible for accelerating the firm’s growth in the two countries.
The company has generated double-digit growth this year, with the majority of sales coming via the trade.
Waine, who starts the London-based role in January, said: “After 3.5 years at international fashion and design school Istituto Marangoni, I’m excited
to get back in to the industry and to build on the strong foundation Interhome has in the UK and Ireland.
“Interhome is a brand I’m very familiar with, it has great
heritage in the industry and is acknowledged as one of the specialists in the market, in fact it was quite a pioneer in the sector when it was founded.
“As consumers look for more freedom and flexibility in their holidays, I’m looking forward to working with partners who are keen to grow their business.”
Regional director Thijs van Oss added: “With the appointment of Danny we have found an outstanding business development manager and I’m sure he will make an immediate impact on what is already one of our fastest growing source markets.
