Cunard’s current vice president of marketing, Angus Struthers, takes on an additional new UK sales role working with the trade to grow Cunard’s UK business.

The changes come into effect on December 1.

Delamere-White and Struthers will each take the title vice president sales and marketing and will continue to report to Ludlow and Palethorpe respectively.

Carnival UK president Josh Weinstein said: “These moves enable us to sharpen our focus, strive towards our long-term goals and progress our talent within the business. This leadership team will underpin P&O Cruises’ position as Britain’s number one holiday choice and Cunard’s undisputed role as the benchmark for luxury travel as we work alongside our trade partners every step of the way.”

Ludlow said: “Christopher has been instrumental in our brand marketing over a period which has seen record results for our business and created high visibility of cruising to a whole new audience. This sets us up very well for the next stage of our growth. I wish him every success in the next stage of his career.”

Palethorpe said: “David has delivered strong growth for Cunard from our international regions and has forged new relationships around the globe. I wish him very well for the future.”

Weinstein added: “This is a world-class management team leading world-class holiday companies. Both brands are on the cusp of significant growth and with Paul at the helm of P&O Cruises and Simon leading Cunard, we have set ourselves up to rise to the occasion.  They and their management teams have got the capabilities and talent to help us build a very bright future.”
