Four senior team members leave Scott Dunn

Four members of Scott Dunn’s management team, including its chairman, have left the company.

Chairman Gary Spellins has stepped down from the luxury operator and has been replaced by Simon McMurtrie, who was chairman at Riviera Travel between 2014 and 2017.

Chief financial officer Julian Ghinn, chief marketing officer Graham Horner and non-executive director Ian Coghlan have also stepped down. New appointments are expected be made in the near future.

Their departures follow the acquisition and integration of Aardvark Safaris USA to create Scott Dunn USA in 2016 and Country Holidays to create Scott Dunn Asia in 2018.

Sonia Davies was promoted to chief executive earlier this month.

She joined the company as chief operating officer in January and replaced former chief executive Simon Russell, who is relocating to San Diego as international director.
