Updated: Black Friday holiday discounts go on sale

Operators have unveiled cut-price deals for the annual Black Friday and Cyber Monday discounting period.

Sailrock Resort is offering 50% off a stay at its luxury accommodation in the Turks and Caicos Islands of the Caribbean.

A member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World and Luxury Retreats, Sailrock is offering half-price deals on all suite categories for guests booking a three-night minimum length of stay.

The offer includes free daily breakfasts and return flights and transfers to the South Caicos resort from the international airport on Providenciales.

Rates for the Sailrock Black Friday/Cyber Monday offer start at $399 per night and the offer must be booked between November 21 and 26, 2018, for travel between November 22, 2018, and December 21, 2019. Blackout travel dates are December 22, 2018, to January 2, 2019.

Cruise and escorted tour operator Scenic has Black Friday offers from November 23 to November 26, including a free three-night New York stay on US and Canada cruises.

It is also offering free door-to-door transfers, pre-cruise luxury hotel stays and up to $500 per cabin on-board credit on selected departures with Scenic Eclipse– dubbed the world’s first ‘discovery yacht’.

There are also free door-to-door transfers on all 2019 Scenic river cruises and selected touring cruises.

Meanwhile, small-group tour operator G Adventures claims to be offering its “biggest cyber-sale ever” for the week leading up to Black Friday and including Cyber Monday (November 26).

The sale offers travellers up to 35% off more than 500 tours and 10,000 departures between December 1, 2018, and July 31, 2019.

There are savings of 35% for trips to Kenya, Uganda, Haiti, Ethiopia, Cambodia, Tanzania and British Virgin Islands.

Another small-group tour operator, Trek America, is offering 30% off selected departures and 10% off all other Trek America America tours, excluding Latin America.

Bookings must be made from November 21 to November 27, with travel dates from November 21, 2018, to December 31, 2019.

No-frills carrier Ryanair is offering special daily deals during ‘Cyber Week’, with 250,000 seats from £4.99, for travel in December and January.

The airline has eight days of airfare deals on its website and is running a 70% discount offer on all car hire booked this week.

Railbookers has kicked off its Black Friday sale by offering customers the chance to upgrade to Eurostar’s Standard Premier class for £19 per person, valid on holidays visiting two or more destinations with departures in 2019.

Africa specialist Acacia Africa is offering Black Friday discounts for selected 2019 tours including 30% off selected camping overland tours and a 20% saving on its 14-day Southern African Magic Small Group Safari.

Camping overland tours include the 25-day Desert Tracker from Cape Town to Pretoria; the 29-day East African Explorer from Pretoria to Nairobi; and the South East Adventure, a 31-day tour from Nairobi to Pretoria.

The deals are valid on new bookings confirmed between November 21 and 23, with the promo code BLKFRI_11/2018.

Cruise & Maritime Voyages (CMV) has Black Friday discounts of up to 15% on more than 70 cruises from the UK, with offers available from 9am on November 23 to 10pm on November 26.

A four-night German Christmas Market & Amsterdam cruise is available from £269 per person, while 27-night voyage from Sydney to Hong Kong via Japan and China is available from £1,104 per person.

Princess Cruises’ four-day Black Friday sale includes 12 voyages from Southampton, ranging in length from seven to 14 days and departing between April and October 2019.

Fares start at £549 per person for a seven-day Scandinavia cruise and £1,199 for a 14-day Baltic cruise, both on Sapphire Princess.

Esprit Ski and Ski Total are offering £25 off adult prices, on all holidays that are booked by November 30, 2018.

The Black Friday Sale applies to all holidays departing before October 31, 2019.

Emirates has unveiled a Black Friday sale, which includes Gatwick-Bangkok return economy fares from £449; Stansted to Mauritius from £679 return; and a return fare of £599 from the new UK gateway Edinburgh to Colombo.

Royal Caribbean has announced Black Friday deals for 2019 holidays, which include a week-long western Caribbean cruise-only offer on Oasis of the Seas for £549 per person.

Another cruise-only deal offers six nights around France and Spain onboard Explorer of the Seas from £399 per person, sailing from Southampton.

A seven-night eastern Caribbean holiday on Harmony of the Seas has cruise-only prices starting from £559 per person. The offers are only available until November 26.

Bourne Leisure has unveiled Black Friday deals across all three of its brands: Butlin’s, Haven and Warner Leisure Hotels.

Butlin’s is offering savings of up to 40% on selected 2018 and 2019 breaks between now and November 27.

A four-night midweek break at Minehead, Somerset, starts from £39 per person, including the 40% discount.

Agents can book April 2019 breaks with Haven and save up to £30 on three- and four-night breaks and up to £60 on seven-night stays across all 36 Haven parks.

This offer is available from November 22 until November 26, for departures between April 5-15, 2019.

Warner’s Black Friday offer is now live and will run until November 27, offering thousands of rooms from £99 per person, per break.

Latin American carrier LATAM Airlines is celebrating Black Friday with online discounts of up to 30% between November 22 and November 25.

The airline is also offering promotional fares to destinations in Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay.

Budget chain easyHotel is promoting Black Friday offers from £9.99 per night, for bookings between November 23 and November 26, for stays between December 3 and May 6.
