Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks have announced their largest ever winter programme for 2019-20 encompassing Christmas markets, New York and The Northern Lights.
A total of 16 trips will run between the UK and New York. East Midlands and Glasgow airports will each run a single trip in November, while Leeds Bradford will run four, including one over New Year’s Eve.
A handful of five-night options will be available from Newcastle.
The remaining six will run from Manchester, with a six-night trip flying out for Christmas on December 22 and a six-night trip over New Year departing on December 27.
Jet2 will also run 32 trips to Iceland and the Northern lights – more than double the amount of winter 2018. These will fly from Birmingham, East Midlands, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Manchester and Newcastle from October 2019 to April 2020.
More than 70 Christmas market breaks are on sale, including Nuremberg which is new for this year.
Steve Heapy, chief executive of Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks said: “Our dedicated winter trips enjoy enormous popularity with independent travel agents every year, so we have really expanded what’s on offer for Winter 19/20.
“Whether it’s Christmas shopping in the Big Apple, taking in the Northern Lights of Iceland, or enjoying Europe’s best Christmas markets, independent travel agents will be able to offer customers more choice and flexibility than ever before.”
