Finnair’s chief commercial officer is joining Virgin Atlantic in a similar role in the new year.
Juha Jarvinen will take up the position of commercial executive vice president at the UK carrier from January.
Ash Jokhoo, currently chief information officer for British Gas, has been appointed technology senior vice president and will join the airline in February.
The new additions complete Virgin Atlantic’s leadership team following the announcement that CEO Craig Kreeger and technology chief Don Langford will retire at the end of the year.
Current chief commercial officer Shai Weiss, who becomes CEO from January 1, said: “I’m thrilled to welcome two such proven leaders to our team, with these additions we are ready to take Virgin Atlantic forwards in 2019 and beyond.
