Advantage Travel Partnership postpones cruise conference until 2019

The sixth dedicated Advantage Travel Partnership cruise conference due to be held in Barcelona later this month has been postponed until March.

Delegates had been scheduled to take exclusive tour of MSC Seaview at the conference held at Tryp Apollo Hotel in Barcelona on November 14-16.

However, the independent agents consortium is now offering delegates the “enhanced opportunity” to see MSC Cruises’ latest ship Bellissima on March 3.

This will be in addition to the ship launch celebrations which include the naming ceremony on March 2.

An Advantage spokeswoman said: “Why have we decided to postpone? Well we believe that MSC has presented us with an enhanced opportunity to not only see their newest ship, Bellissima, but also to experience it first-hand.

“We will experience exclusive Advantage member only events whilst on board, along with the full spectacular of an MSC ship launch.”

The consortium is refunding members who have booked Barcelona-bound flights.
