Delta has announced that it is to remove single-use plastic items such as drinks stirrers, wrappers, utensils and straws from its aircraft and Sky Club lounges.
The airline said the move continues its “long-time sustainability efforts”.
“Reducing single-use plastics is a natural extension of the work we’ve been doing for years to lead the industry in efforts to reduce our impact on the environment,” said Christine Boucher, managing director, global environment, sustainability and compliance.
