New look for expanding Carrick Travel

A brand refresh has been unveiled by expanding Midlands miniple Carrick Travel following its take over of four-branch Roma Travel.

The addition of outlets in Bingham, Grantham, Keyworth and Newark brought the total number of branches up to 12.

The new stores in the East Midlands will be the first to receive a new-look logo from the Leamington Spa-based agency.

Further growth is not being ruled out by managing director Tina Nason after the acquisition of Roma Travel almost a year ago.

“Never say never,” she said. “If the right opportunity came along then of course we would give it serious consideration – but we would not acquire simply for the sake of it, it has to be right for us and location is key.

“We are excited about our new look and we will all be working as hard as ever to exceed expectations when it comes to our customer service levels.”

The new-look at Carrick Travel follows a review with travel sector sales and marketing firm 3FOR.

This has resulted in a new logo, enhanced marketing activity including press advertising, point of sale and a revamped Carrick Collection customer magazine.

Nason said: “The team and customers have been thrilled with our new look and the Carrick Collection magazine has been re-designed to better reflect the type of business we are and the type of holidays that we want to promote.

“We chose our partners carefully and, instead of displaying page after page of operator ads, we concentrated on editorial complemented with comments from our own team who have personally experienced the featured destination. The response from our partners has been amazing.”

Director Tracey Carter added: “We printed and mailed 5,000 copies to carefully selected customers and we also produced a digital version which we have distributed by email from our branches making it feel more personal.

“The response has been so positive that we are already planning a spring 2019 edition.”
