Hotelplan’s Louise Newton to leave business

Hotelplan’s group head of marketing Louise Newton has left the business to set-up her own PR and marketing business.

Newton will leave Hotelplan, which includes the Esprit, Inghams, Santa’s Lapland and Ski Total brands, at the beginning of November.

Chief executive of Hotelplan Paul Carter said the business was interviewing candidates and hopes to appoint a replacement by the end of October.

Newton joined the business in 2010 as marketing manager for Inghams before being appointed group head of marketing for Hotelplan in 2014.

She has previously held roles at Somak and Tui.

Carter said: “We would like to thank Louise for eight years’ dedicated service and wish her all the very best.  We hope to continue working with Louise in her new venture. In the meantime, a process is underway to find a replacement for the role and we hope to announce a successor shortly”.
