Clia’s #ChooseCruise campaign turns focus to dining at sea

Clia is dedicating the fifth week of its #ChooseCruise campaign to dining options found onboard ocean and river ships.

The #ChooseCruise campaign started in the UK at the beginning of September and is now running globally across Clia cruise lines for October.

Its aim is to highlight different onboard experiences on offer through a holiday at sea or on a river ship.

Andy Harmer, Clia UK & Ireland director, said: “Ocean and river ships pride themselves on offering a feast of mouth-watering cuisines and dining experiences that cater for everyone.

“Guests can choose from a wide range of options – with the largest ships having up to 30 dining venues – from poolside burger bars and pizza counters right up to speciality cuisine restaurants and exclusive chef’s table experiences.

“The focal point on any ship is the main dining restaurant, where guests are generally free to dine whenever they wish. But it is the variety of speciality dining options that have injected exciting new flavours into cruise ship cuisine.

“There are special dinner shows too, where guest can watch energetic acrobats and mysterious magicians cast a spell over the audience to the accompaniment of three-course dinners.”
