APT introduces two new touring styles in New Zealand and Australia brochure

APT has released its New Zealand & Australia 2019-20 brochure featuring five new itineraries which include two new types of touring style.

The operator is also offering early booking discounts and the chance for an agent to win return flights to Australia with a plus-one.

One of the new touring styles is Luxury Small Group Journeys – tours for groups of no more than 20.

Two itineraries are available in New Zealand: The 16-day North Island Wonders from Auckland to Wellington from £5,995; and 15-day South Island Sensation from Wellington to Queenstown from £5,745.

APT has introduced cruising in its Australia and New Zealand brochure for the first time, as the second new touring style.

Itineraries include the Essential 14-day Kimberley Coast Cruise which, priced from £6,995, sails from Darwin to Broome aboard Coral Expeditions I, which visits the base of King George Falls and features a zodiac ride through Horizontal Falls.

Two new land tours have been introduced. The 24-day Essence of New Zealand is billed as a luxury tour from Christchurch to Auckland including a traditional Maori Hangi feast and catamaran cruise around the Bay of Islands. Prices start from £6,595.

The Essential 17-day Treasures of Australia, from Sydney to Melbourne, is also new for 2019-20. It includes a cruise on Quicksilver’s Wavepiercer catamaran to the outer Great Barrier Reef, and is priced from £5,995.

Savings of up to £1,000 per couple are available on select itineraries if booked before October 31.

Return economy flights for two to either Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Perth are up for grabs up for an agent who books any APT escorted tour before November 30 and logs them at APT-Experts.co.uk/incentive by December 7.

APT managing director UK and Ireland, Paul Melinis, said: “Due to agents’ and clients’ demand, we have included a small group tour to NZ, added in Kimberley cruising and much more. All this is wrapped up with an amazing agent incentive.”
